Gail Monaghan, a WSJ Off Duty food columnist, cookbook author, and designer, has joined forces with George Sotelo of Thorsun to create a Table Top line for Bergdorf Goodman.

Gail and George met as neighbors in their Nomad loft building over ten years ago and have been friends ever since. Both are known for their lively dinner parties and love nothing more than food and wine with friends. They each entertain frequently and sometimes even together.

Last year Gail launched a contemporary patchwork table top and home collection incorporating vintage and recycled fabrics.

In addition to running his resort-wear line, George is the creative director for The Surf Lodge in Montauk where Thorsun fabric is used throughout the hotel.

Now Gail and George--using Thorsun fabric remnants and Gail's contemporary patchwork concept--have created a Thorsun X Gail Monaghan capsule table top collection. The placemats, coasters, napkins and runners are carried exclusively on the home floor at Bergdorf Goodman.

The entire collection is sustainable, durable and perfect for indoor and outdoor entertaining.
